The "Hometown Gathering of Hometown Feelings and Xiangjiang Toward a New Journey" was held in Hong Kong's Victoria Park on 26 June. More than 3 stalls were set up at the market, which attracted a large number of people to shop on the first day of opening.
The Chief Secretary for Administration of the HKSAR Government, Mr John Chan Kwok-kee, expressed his belief that the hometown market can showcase the characteristics of different parts of the motherland to the public.
