Video shows pro-Ukrainian soldiers handling Swedish armored personnel carriers in the Russian Belgorod region. Russian anti-Kremlin forces allegedly used military vehicles originally given by the United States and Poland to Ukraine, as well as weapons manufactured in Belgium and the Czech Republic.
"It is in Russia's interest to demonstrate that the West is waging a war against Russia," says Lieutenant Colonel Peter Lidén, from Swedish Defence University. The video could become part of Russian propaganda, he says, but Ukraine is used to Russian mudslinging.
