Östersund municipality hosted a corporate breakfast on Wednesday morning. On stage were representatives of the giant establishment at data centers and greenhouses in Verksmon.
Many of the questions were about skills supply. Unemployment in Jämtland is at low levels, says Johan Appelberg, CEO of Ecodatacenter. The new data center with greenhouse cultivation will be built in Österund. An investment of 18 billion and 1000 jobs will be created, according to the municipality.
