From 30 May, companies in southern Sweden will be able to apply for electricity support from a pot of SEK 30 billion. At the Swedish Tax Agency, which handles the applications and payments, intensive work is underway.

The agency estimates that the assignment will cost the agency SEK 220 million and 250-300 new administrators will be recruited to the agency's offices in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö, Linköping, Jönköping and Uppsala. The companies' application period is expected to last until the end of September.
