[HIGHLIGHTS] Georgia will not participate in the U.S.-led Defender 23 military exercise

Georgia will not take part in the multinational military exercise Defender 23 under the command of the United States. The Pentagon says the exercises are aimed at demonstrating the ability of the US Armed Forces to quickly deploy combat-ready forces.

The Armenian military plans to participate in two US military exercises, which will be held on the territory of European countries in 2023. The training is designed to increase NATO's lethality and to deter aggression from the continent, the Pentagon says. The exercises will take place in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
