Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant said that Hezbollah's targeting of Israel would cost Lebanon dearly, returning it to the Stone Age. He also responded to Tehran's announcement of the development of a ballistic missile capable of penetrating all defense systems.
Galant's remarks followed a field tour he made on the northern front (on the border with Lebanon), as part of the IDF's "Overwhelming Fist" exercise for the second week. There was no immediate comment from Lebanese authorities or Hezbollah on the Israeli minister's remarks.
