On the occasion of Mother's Day, this Sunday, June 4, the Women's Foundation published a note from its Observatory of Women's Economic Emancipation on factors of inequality. The authors, experts in women's rights, recall that the price of parenthood is paid by mothers above all, accentuating the risk of precariousness.

From pregnancy to retirement, women always pay the heaviest price for parenthood among heterosexual couples. In 2022, 160,000 families did not have a childcare solution for their children, neither in a crèche nor with a childminder.
