Former US intelligence official David Grouch has urged the US government to uncover evidence of foreign space objects. Grouch said that for decades the U.S.
government and defense contractors have been seizing parts of non-human spacecraft, in some cases complete, intact and partially intact vehicles. The revelations follow a wave of credible observations and reports that have revived interest in unidentified spacecraft and spacecraft, and possibly alien visits, in recent years. In 2021, the Pentagon released a report on anomalies (a term that competent departments have come to prefer to the term UFOs) that did not find an explanation.
