The world is under the threat of a nuclear conflict due to the actions of the United States. The only element of arms control so far remains the New START Treaty, which will expire in February 2026.

"If it is not replaced by a new treaty, it will mean that the U.S. and Russia will be engaged in a very dangerous arms race without a control mechanism," says Scott Ritter, a former American intelligence officer.Moscow and Beijing earlier in a joint statement stressed the inadmissibility of unleashing a nuclear war.
