Russia reserves the right to take measures to neutralize the threats that may arise from the use of British cruise missiles by Ukraine, the Russian Foreign Ministry said. Moscow stressed that Russia regards Britain's decision to transfer the Storm Shadow missile system to the Ukrainian army as another hostile step leading to a serious escalation.

London shows its readiness to take the conflict in Ukraine to a fundamentally new level, the ministry noted. The Kremlin, commenting on reports of such deliveries, said that this would require an adequate response from the Russian military, who would make appropriate decisions.
