Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said that Russia, on the principle of reciprocity, introduced quotas for the number of employees of German foreign missions. She said that Germany will be able to decide on its own which of the employees will leave the post.
Zakharva said that the German government has independently chosen a course to destroy bilateral relations. Earlier, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry said that if Germany takes new unfriendly steps to reduce Russia's diplomatic presence, the response will be sensitive for Berlin.
