[HIGHLIGHTS] Foreign Ministers of China, Russia, India, and Other Countries confirm strengthening cooperation on economic cooperation

Shanghai Cooperation Organization meeting held in India on May 5. Meeting aimed to strengthen ties between China and other countries.

China and Russia have been at odds in the past over the use of drones in the region. The meeting was held to discuss ways to work together in the future of the Asia-Pacific region and the region in general. It was the first meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization since it was formed in 1992. The first meeting was in Beijing, China, and was attended by more than 100 countries.
