The food giants lowered their prices after the meeting with Finance Minister Elisabeth Svantesson (M) – but that it happened at the time was a coincidence. Over the past year, food prices have risen by almost 21 percent, but Svensk dagligvaruhandel's CEO, Karin Brynell, believes that food companies have not passed on the costs to customers.
