Petteri Orpo, winner of the Finnish elections and likely future Finnish Prime Minister, announced on Thursday 27th April that he wanted to form a government coalition with the far right. Such an alliance with the Finns Party, which won 20.1% of the vote in the April 2 legislative elections, would mean that a new anti-immigration party would find itself in power in Europe.

The main subject of divergence concerns immigration, which promises to be the most difficult point to forge an alliance.
