Arab foreign ministers discuss ways to end the 12-year-old Syrian conflict. They agreed to work with Jordan and Iraq to identify the sources of drug production and smuggling.

They also agreed that the voluntary and safe return of Syrian refugees to their country is a top priority. This is the first official visit by the Syrian Foreign Minister to Jordan since 2011. The meeting comes about three weeks before the Arab summit in Riyadh on May 3, 19, and two weeks after talks in the Saudi city of Jeddah.
