The Tax Agency in Gothenburg has brought in extra staff to receive those who are out at the last moment. By midnight, the income tax return must be submitted.
About 76 per cent have filed their tax returns electronically in Västra Götaland. More than 52,000 people have submitted their tax return twice this year, according to Martin Pernheim, tax information officer at the Swedish Tax Agency. Some even seem to have the need to submit the declaration several times, he says.
