Emmanuel Macron will not go down on the lawn of the Stade de France Saturday night, during the final of the Coupe de France between Nantes and Toulouse. The head of state has been hotly contested since the adoption of the pension law.

Some 3,000 police and gendarmes will be mobilized near the stadium of France, which President Emmanuel Macron will attend all the same. Grids will be mounted in the corners to "avoid an invasion of the field by supporters," added a police source.
