A senior official of the EU=European Union will attend the G29=Seven Major Countries' Digital and Technology Ministers' Meeting to be held on June 7. He told NHK that "it is very effective to think about how to use ChatGPT" and other generative AI based on risk, and expressed his hope that countries will find common ground for appropriate use.
He mentioned that a bill to regulate the use of AI is being discussed in the EU, and stated that he would like to aim for the enactment of the bill as soon as possible.
