The European Commission has deemed "unacceptable" the decision taken by some member states to ban imports of Ukrainian cereals. The governments of the Twenty-Seven gave this Friday, April 28 their agreement to renew for one year the suspension of all customs duties on Ukrainian products imported into the EU.

MEPs still have to give their approval in plenary to allow the provision to enter into force, an EU source said. "Contacts are continuing" on this subject, the Commission said on Friday.
