Turkey must elect a president in a second round of elections on May 28. None of the three presidential candidates reached the 50% of votes needed to secure a new term.

The current president, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, won 49.5% of the vote and his opponent, Kemal Kiliçdaroglu, got 44.8%. For his part, the far-right Sinan Ogan, scratched 5.17% and has become a key vote if in the coming days he announces his support.
