The book "Twenty-24 Solar Terms and Seventy-Two Seasons: The Poetic Life Aesthetics of Chinese" by Xu Lijing and painted by Xu Dongdong was recently published by CITIC Publishing Group. The 24 solar terms are a summary of the four seasons in the Chinese calendar, and it is also a concise, innocent, cordial and full of life atmosphere for heaven and earth.
The Chinese calendar is not a calendar based purely on the relative motion of the moon and the earth, as in the Islamic calendar.
