Despite the chilly and wet June weather in Norrbotten, Pitebo residents made a pilgrimage to Algot's farm in Svensbyn for this year's cow release. The farm has only had cow release four times before, but this time was special as they had a break during the pandemic.
The village owners were full of people who went there by car and on foot to see the cows being released on green pasture. "I think this is such an important meeting between us dairy farmers and those who come and watch," says farmer Ulla Bergström.
