UAE rider Mikkel Bjerg wins time trial of Belmont-de-la-Loire. Bjerg dethroned Frenchman Christophe Laporte, 21st in the time at 1 min 50 sec.
Frenchman David Gaudu is already 2 min 10 sec behind Vingegaard overall. Richard Carapaz, Egan Bernal, Enric Mas and Mikel Landa all finished more than two minutes behind Berg. The peloton will head to Jura for a finish in Salins-Bains at the end of the stage.
