An article in the British newspaper "Daily Telegraph" indicated that the rampant financial and moral corruption in Russia will bring down President Putin. The article, written by former U.S.
Army colonel Hamish Stephen de Breton, a chemical weapons expert, added that those who believe Russia can still summon an unstoppable wave of men and materiel should abandon their belief. "Putin's gangsters have looted their country, imprinted corruption in all ranks of the military, and in doing so they have condemned themselves to defeat," he noted.
