Cypriot President Nikos Christodoulides said that the energy resources of the Eastern Mediterranean are not able to completely replace Europe's natural gas from Russia. He added that the Cypriot authorities are counting on technical and financial support from the EU.

Earlier, the head of Rosneft, Igor Sechin, said that Europe had completely lost its energy security, having lost access to cheap energy resources from Russia, according to RIA Novosti. The EU authorities have begun to realize that US policy is leading to the deindustrialization of Europe.
