The 30-year-old rider-climber of UAE pins the French-speaking event to his palmares. He has already invited himself in the Top 10 of the three grand tours and had taken the yellow jersey on Saturday by winning the queen stage between Sion and Thyon 2000. Thibaut Pinot finished fifth in the race, 41 seconds behind Yates, while Romain Bardet took 7th place overall.
