Skaraborg Hospital's board decided on Friday not to make a decision on the major savings proposal itself. Lidköping municipality has started work to investigate how the municipality could step in and run the emergency hospital together with the region.
The region's committee will take up the issue of the savings proposal as early as Thursday, with only one day's notice. Local politicians are surprised and say that it is "remarkable" that such a large item is added to the agenda the day before the meeting.
