The Stone of Destiny, the centrepiece of Charles III's coronation on Saturday 6 May, is on its way to Westminster Abbey. This is the first time in a quarter of a century that this symbol of the Scottish monarchy has left the country.

At the end of a trip under high security, the stone of 152 kilos will lodge in its location under the chair of King Edward, an oak throne more than two meters high, at the center of the coronations for more than 700 years.
