The Congress of Deputies put an end this Thursday definitively to the firefighter-bullfighter shows in our country. The new regulations also prohibit the participation of people with disabilities in entertainment programs on television, as well as in leisure shows for adults or bachelor parties.
"In Spain there are no buffoons, there are people with dignity and rights," said the general director of Rights of Persons with Disabilities of the Ministry of Social Rights, Jesús Martín Blanco. The government department claimed in the summer of 2021 the cancellation of a show of a firefighter- bullfighter in Badajoz.
