[HIGHLIGHTS] Confederation of Swedish Enterprise and Muf critical of increased supply limit: "An intervention in Swedish wage formation"

The income limit for labor immigrants will be raised from approximately SEK 13,000 to SEK 26,560 for those who immigrate to Sweden for work. The government's and the Sweden Democrats' proposal to raise the income limit is harshly criticized by both the Confederation of Swedish Enterprise and the Moderate Youth League.

"This model that is now being introduced is an intervention in Swedish wage formation," says Karin Johansson, deputy CEO of the Confederation. "We do not turn a blind eye to working life crime, but there are other tools to work with"
