French shipowner CMA CGM has entered into "exclusive negotiations" with Bolloré to acquire its transport and logistics activities. If successful, this acquisition would strengthen the logistics activity of the C MA CGM group.
The board of directors of the Boll oré group is expected to decide on the interest of this offer at a meeting on Tuesday. The sale of Bollorée Logistics will be the second of its kind in a few months for Bollorés. The group sold its African logistics branch to another shipowner, competitor of CMA, the Italian-Swiss MSC, for 5.7 billion euros.
