Dozens of climate activists caused the temporary interruption of air traffic on Tuesday in Geneva, Switzerland. They had chained themselves to several private jets calling for their ban.

Shortly before, other activists had disrupted the business aviation show. Traffic at Switzerland's second-largest airport was interrupted for about an hour and gradually resumed at 12:40 p.m., Geneva airport said in a statement. About 80 activists were arrested, a spokeswoman for Geneva police told AFP, while four people were treated for malaise or injured.
