China expressed its full support for the UAE in successfully hosting the 28th Conference of the Parties (COP28) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change. China stressed that the climate crisis is becoming increasingly severe and urgent, and the green and low-carbon transformation has a long way to go.
Developed countries should earnestly implement their emission reduction commitments and take the lead in reducing emissions, and provide matching financial, technical and capacity building support for developing countries to implement the targets.
