The refurbished market has been on the rise for several years and, with inflation, it could gain new followers. Buying a second-hand object saves money, but also reduces your environmental footprint.

A refurbished product is reset, then tested, cleaned, repaired, technical inspection, repackaged and put back on sale. All to be resold at a cheaper price. For a smartphone, for example, buying refurbished saves 82 kilos of raw materials and 87% of greenhouse gas emissions.
