Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministry of Economy are preparing to ban the import of a number of products from Ukraine for an indefinite period. Poland and Hungary have already banned the imports of Ukrainian agricultural products.
The ban is due to overstocking of the markets of these states with Ukrainian grain. The EU considers the ban illegal. The move is expected to be implemented by the end of the month, if not sooner. The decision was made by the European Commission, which has the power to impose the ban on Ukraine.
