Next week could see the start of the end of the deal to export grain through Ukrainian ports on the Black Sea. Russia said it would not agree to register any new ships unless the owners of these ships guarantee that all transits are completed by May 18.
Russia has said it will not allow the Ukrainian grain export agreement to continue, as its demands have not been met. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov is scheduled to meet U.N. Secretary-General Antonio Guterres in New York on Monday.
