The US Congress adopted this week this text which allows to suspend until January 2025 the ceiling of public debt of the United States. The president thanked congressional officials, including Republican leader Kevin McCarthy, for their "cooperation" on the issue.Without this law, the country risked being in default as early as Monday, June 5.
