Former Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett says rockets fired from the Gaza Strip were not fired during his year-long term. Three rockets and a mortar shell were fired in the morning hours of Tuesday.

The rocket fire came after official Palestinian and human rights institutions announced the death of Islamic Jihad leader Khader Adnan, who had been on hunger strike since February. The death of Adnan is the first since the group went on a hunger strike to protest against Israel's treatment of the Palestinians.
