It is customary on the days of Eid for the residents of the Sudanese capital Khartoum to leave to visit their extended families in the states of the country. But this year things are moving forward, due to the bloody confrontations between the army and the Rapid Support Forces, as the United Nations Office for Humanitarian Affairs in Sudan (OCHA) warned in the latest report of increasing waves of displacement.

The number of people who left the capital for other states is estimated at more than 700.
