The Russian military sometimes uses the term "offensive forces" to refer to members of the Wagner Special Security Group. Ukraine's General Staff said its forces had repelled more than 50 Russian attacks on Avdiyevka, Marinka and Bakhmout.
Spanish Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Albares said that his country will send within days 6 of the 10 Leopard 2 tanks that it had pledged to provide. Ukraine will later be provided with a second group of 4 tanks, Albares added.
