José María Aznar has rejected the argument used by Pedro Sánchez that it was the Socialists who ended up for ETA to verify that "we gave the total battle" with political and judicial measures that led to the illegalization of Herri Batasuna. The former president of the Government has ruled out any pact between the PP and the PSOE to claim that Alberto Núñez Feijóo leads a "strong government", without mentioning Vox as a possible ally.

"The proetarras are the ones who rule in this country by the work and grace of Pedro Sónchez," warned Carlos Iturgaiz.
