Syrian actor and director Osama al-Romani died at dawn on Monday of cardiac arrest at the age of 81. He began his artistic career in 1967 with the series "Al-Mayla Alley", then participated in the plays "Tishreen Village" in 1974 and "Ghoraba" in 1976.

He was absent for many years from Syria and the artistic community to return to participate in important works that achieved views at the local and Arab levels. His last appearance was during the month of last Ramadan through the character of Abu Alaa in the series 'Jam Al-Ezz'
