The manager in Härjedalen municipality who was charged with assault after beating an employee is now leaving his employment with immediate effect. The municipality writes that the handling of the case has not been good, and that the situation has developed in a way that makes the municipal manager re-evaluate his previous position.
During the notice period of three months, the outgoing manager will be exempt from work, the municipality writes."We now have important work to do going forward to restore confidence in the municipality and the municipality's values. That work begins in management," writes Gunnel Gyllander.
