The councilor of the PSOE in the City Council of Santa Cruz de Tenerife and number 2 of the candidacy that this party presents to the Consistory, José Ángel Martín, has been arrested. He is accused of throwing another member of the party to the ground and breaking his leg.
Police sources have indicated that they would not report the case as it was an event that occurred during the electoral campaign. The case has been referred to the National Police for further investigation.
