[HIGHLIGHTS] Armenia called Azerbaijan's establishment of a checkpoint in the Lachin corridor a violation

Azerbaijan's establishment of a checkpoint in the Lachin corridor is a violation of the 2020 trilateral statement. The Armenian Foreign Ministry called on Russia to ensure the withdrawal of Azerbaijani forces from Nagorno-Karabakh.

Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) Imangali Tasmagambetov said that tensions remain in the Transcaucasus as a result of long-term contradictions between Armenia and Azerbaijan. The CSTO said that the situation in the region remains tense.
