Russia's Federal Security Service (FSB) said on Thursday it had uncovered a U.S. spy operation that hacked thousands of iPhones.
Moscow-based Kaspersky Lab said dozens of its employees' devices were hacked in the process. FSB has not provided any evidence that Apple was collaborating in the hack or had knowledge of the espionage campaign. According to Reuters, Apple denied in a statement that it had worked with any government to implement a breakthrough in any Apple product and we will never do that.
