The People's Park and Estraden in Gävle will be demolished in November. The idea is to build a new residential area with rental apartments.
The building permit application for the first phase has been submitted to the municipality. There are 134 apartments in two buildings that are five and seven storeys high. The park has a place in the hearts of many GäVle residents, can they expect any kind of tribute to the time that has been? It's not as planned in the building permit, then we'll see if we can come up with something together with the municipality or something like that.
