La Movida would not have been the same without Alberto García Alix and three of his contemporaries, Ouka Lele, Pablo Pérez-Mínguez and Miguel Trillos. Recently he came to Barcelona invited by the Fundació Romea for the talk El meu cos illustrat (My illustrated body) where he explained the importance of tattooing on his skin and that of others.
With some nostalgia he affirms that "in recent years they have lost their meaning since they are now purely decorative"
