Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni criticized the attitude of his soldiers during the attack on a base of the African Union Force in Somalia. In a sharp statement, published on Twitter, the Ugandan president said that if the Shebabs managed to invade the Somali base of Bula Mareer, Friday, May 26, it is because they would have taken advantage of the "disorganization" of the approximately 200 Ugandan soldiers supposed to hold it.

Some of the troops retreated to another base, 15 kilometers away, abandoning their heavy weapons within range of al-Shabab.
