This Wednesday, during the presentation of the government's roadmap for the next 100 days, Prime Minister Elisabeth Borne announced the postponement of the immigration bill, for lack of agreement with The Republicans. The latter will table their own text on the subject.

Emmanuel Macron had however assured to want a single bill before the summer. "We are not facing an admission of impotence," he assured on RTL, evoking "important announcements". The Prime Minister notably indicated that bills "green industry", "full employment" and "value sharing" would be presented mid-May.
